About me

I became interested in being a Social Carer because I genuinely love supporting people and helping them feel safe, understood and included. Through my work as an Education Access Worker at multiple universities (La Trobe University, Swinburne University of Technology, Trinity College at the University of Melbourne and William Angliss Institute) and as a Support Worker at Mastery Schools Victoria, I have supported elderly individuals, young people and children with developmental delays, autism, psychosocial disabilities and trauma backgrounds. These roles showed me how much a calm, patient and consistent support person can change someone’s day. I believe I will be good at this role because I am gentle, reliable and able to build trusting relationships. I enjoy getting to know people as individuals and supporting them in a strengths-based, respectful and caring way.
