Stage 1: Foundations

This level covers essential orientation, expectations and everyday support skills. It’s designed to help you understand how support work operates and what good support looks like on the Like Family platform.

This level focuses on safety, communication and understanding psychosocial support. These are some of the most common next steps carers take once they begin working regularly.

This level is for carers who want to provide personal care or higher-support services. These qualifications and courses are widely recognised across disability and aged care.
