Can I 'top up' my Support at Home package with private payments?
Yes, absolutely. This is one of the biggest advantages of our flexible model. If you reach your annual funding limit or if you want more hours than your package covers, you can seamlessly top up your care hours by paying directly. This ensures your support remains uninterrupted, allowing you to use our highly competitive private pay rates to continue receiving care whenever you need it.

How does my mandatory co-payment work with your platform?
Our model is designed to ensure your co-payment buys you maximum value.
The Co-Payment Still Applies: If the government assesses you as needing to pay a co-contribution (or co-payment), that mandatory fee is still charged by your Registered Provider (RP).
The Benefit: Since our hourly rates are up to 66% lower than traditional providers, your co-payment (and your overall package funding) effectively purchases significantly more hours of direct care when you use our platform

This low-overhead approach allows us to set highly competitive flat rates that are up to 66% cheaper than the industry average, while still ensuring your Social Carer earns a fair rate and retains the choice to accept or decline any booking.
Does a lower price mean lower quality care?
Quite the opposite. We believe your control equals higher quality. Our rigorous vetting ensures experience, but the critical difference is the relationship:
- Motivation for Continuity: Our Social Carers are independent and know that continuing a successful working relationship depends directly on your satisfaction. This fosters higher dedication, better punctuality, and consistent quality, unlike traditional employees who are often rotated between dozens of clients and may lack that long-term commitment.
- Your Choice: You choose your own perfect match through our platform, guaranteeing a better connection than traditional arbitrary assignments.
Are there any hidden fees, platform fees, or membership costs?
Absolutely not. Our pricing is completely transparent. We charge zero hidden fees, zero membership fees, and zero annual platform fees. You only pay for the direct hours of care you receive
Do I have to pay my Social Carer directly?
No. All payments are handled securely through our platform. Whether you are paying privately (via credit card) or using your Support at Home funding (via invoicing your Registered Provider), we manage the financial transaction on behalf of the carers so you and your carer can focus purely on the support.
Do you offer Personal Care services (e.g., showering or mobility assistance)?
Yes. We offer a comprehensive range of support, including essential Personal Care services, in addition to Everyday Living and Social Support. Pricing for these services are slightly higher than for social care and Everyday Living as Carers need to be qualified with a Certifcate 3 or Certificate 4 or through professional experience and references.
Do you provide Clinical or Nursing services
No, we do not provide clinical or specialised nursing services (such as wound care, medication management requiring RN supervision, or complex allied health treatments). Our platform specialises in high-quality non-clinical support (Social Support, Everyday Living, and Personal Care), which are the services proven to help you maintain independence and stay at home longer.
If you require clinical or nursing support:
- If you have Support at Home Funding: Please contact your Registered Support at Home Provider (RP) directly. They are required to arrange the clinical services you need through your package.
- If you are Private Paying: Please consult with your General Practitioner (GP), who can provide referrals to private, local home nursing agencies or other specialized health providers in your area.
Can I use your platform to find companionship for someone living in a Residential Aged Care facility?
Yes, absolutely! Our platform is an ideal solution for finding personalised social support and companionship for residents in aged care. Residential facilities typically focus on clinical and core care, often leaving a gap in social and meaningful engagement.
You can use our platform to:
- Find a perfect match who shares interests with your loved one.
- Book sessions purely for companionship, activities, outings, or one-on-one time.
