Mainly the idea of helping others in my community, as someone who has been lucky with family and health I would like to help others who may not have been. I am a person who is fit, active and enjoys helping others. My skills as a former teacher and coach to many local sporting teams I think would be valuable as a Like Family team member. In addition to my driver's licence I also have current Truck and Bus licences. As an older person with much life experience, I feel I would be well equipped in helping others in this role. I am happy to go through any checks and acquire accreditations that are required and am available to work immediately. I enjoy the outdoors with Surfing and Golf my main passions. I also enjoy coaching and managing teams ay my golf club. Getting away camping and having new experiences with family and friends is something i do regularly. Cooking and sourcing fresh produce is something I have always been keen on, I like the process as much as the result. I have a Batchelor in Education and was a teacher as a first career, then completed study in a Batchelor of Economics and worked in banking for 25 years. Married with 4 mostly adult children i have the time and passion to help others in my community. I am very comfortable in a group environment but equally happy to work in more 1 on 1 roles. My communication skills are strong and would describe my personality as calm and relaxed.
