I am motivated to become a Social Carer because I’ve always found it rewarding to help others and make a positive difference in people’s lives. I am a final-year allied health student with clinical experience across multiple hospitals, where I have gained valuable skills in patient care, communication, and empathy. I figured that these skills will be valuable when implemented within a social carer role while in addition, this role will also expand my experience with communicating and handing patients who may have special needs. I believe I will be good at this role because I am compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care. My work experience as a dental nurse plus my clinical placements has taught me how to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to different patient needs. I am passionate about educating and supporting people to contribute positively to their wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping others and contributing to their wellbeing. I enjoy connecting with people and finding ways to make their day. Some of my key skills include strong communication, empathy, and organisation. My healthcare background in a has helped me develop a good understanding of patient care, professionalism, and the importance of building trust with clients. Outside of work and study, I enjoy staying active through walking and swimming, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering when I can. I also like learning new things related to health and wellbeing, as it helps me continue growing both personally and professionally. I also train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, which have helped me build discipline, focus, and resilience which I also bring into my professional life.
