I wanted to become a Social Carer because I genuinely enjoy helping others feel supported, respected, and included in their daily lives. I have experience supporting people with different needs and understand the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I take the time to listen, build trust, and create a safe and positive environment. I believe I will be good at this role because I am reliable, calm under pressure, and committed to providing person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing. Some of my hobbies include spending time outdoors, caring for animals, listening to music, and keeping active. I enjoy helping with daily routines, community outings, and meaningful activities that bring joy and confidence to others. I have strong communication skills, am well organised, and adapt easily to different situations and personalities. An interesting fact about me is that I am very observant and proactive — I notice small changes in behaviour or mood and respond early to ensure people feel comfortable and supported.
