I wanted to become a Social Carer because I enjoy supporting people and making a positive difference in their daily lives. I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and respected, and I take pride in helping others achieve that. My hands-on experience working with NDIS participants has strengthened my ability to provide care with patience, empathy, and professionalism. I think I will be good at this role because I am attentive, reliable, and genuinely care about the wellbeing of the people I support. Some of my hobbies include baking, spending time outdoors, and caring for my dog. These activities help me bring a sense of positivity and balance into my work. I am also passionate about listening and understanding people’s needs, which is supported by my certification in Active Listening. This skill allows me to respond effectively and compassionately to individuals, ensuring they feel valued and heard. I am a punctual, dependable, and caring person who is committed to delivering the highest standard of care. I bring a calm and supportive presence, and I adapt easily to different situations and individual needs. My goal is always to provide not just practical support, but also companionship and reassurance to those I work with.
