l am proud of my career choice as Social Carer, l enjoy the interactions with the clients, l am able to support them in their daily goals and help them by giving them choices in their lives, choices of which without care and support they would not be able to make or would be restricted in achieving. To be able to live safely in their homes, to provide access to their communities that they love. l am passionate about my career in the disability industry, being able to help by using the skills l have studied, to provide support to my community. l also have a passion for learning more about the people l meet and support, learning about their past where they have lived, grew up, their interests and passions in life, to enable me to really get to know them. l am currently enjoying swimming as fitness, bike riding and l enjoy taking on new challenges such as dancing lessons. l have worked in the past in warehousing and retail, however l am very comfortable in my current role in social care, l have learned a lot about myself by pursing this career. l am a hard worker, rising to challenges of supporting clients, l have empathy, to be able to see the necessary care l need to provide and understand the changing daily needs of my clients.
