I wanted to become a social worker to help the people within my community get out and about and enjoy life and have fun and still feel independent just with a little help from a friend. I love talking , shopping cooking and meeting new people, I have seen in person what support workers can really do , my husband went through this when he became an amputee. He needed a break from the family taking him out and really enjoyed other company from other people within the community I was in the hospitality business for 10 plus year and new I need a new career.
