I have wanted to become a Social Carer for some time and now that I am of mature age and my fulltime work has slowed down and I have more hours to dedicate, I have decided now is the time to offer my life and work experience and my caring nature and my social abilities with those who are looking to build on their own needs and share their work and life experiences jointly and who may need a little extra nurturing and care at the stage of their life that they are at. I am caring, empathetic, funny, articulate, reliable and outgoing, all of which I pride myself in. I love to cook, it is definitely one of my favourite pastimes, and being the mother of three independent adult children, they still enjoy coming back to the family home regularly to have me cook a meal and in turn prep meals for them when I can as they lead busy professional lives and I love being able to do this in my spare time. I also run around after my one and only two year old grandson, who also loves Ma's cooking and Im looking forward to spending time with him in the kitchen as he gets older and teach him all about nutrition, food and cooking. I love animals and anything to do with them. I have two cats that live with me, Maple who is 5 years old and Bentley who is an amazing 18 years old. I enjoy movies whether at home or at the cinema and enjoy socialising with extended family and friends.
