I am a passionate, motivated and compassionate support professional who is dedicated to helping people live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives. My approach is centred on building genuine relationships, treating every person with dignity and respect, and providing support that is tailored to their individual goals, preferences and circumstances. Before entering the disability and aged care sector, I enjoyed a successful career in cyber security and counselling, giving me a unique combination of analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and emotional insight. I later worked as a Support Coordinator and Behaviour Therapist within the NDIS and managed three Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Coffs Harbour, leading a team of 30 staff while supporting six participants with complex needs. These experiences have equipped me to remain calm under pressure, think logically, advocate confidently and communicate effectively with clients, families and professionals. Whether I'm helping someone attend appointments, preparing meals, providing companionship, supporting community participation, navigating the NDIS or aged care systems, or advocating with government and community organisations, I am committed to helping people achieve the best possible outcomes. I pride myself on being practical, reliable, organised and adaptable. I love a challenge and am always willing to roll up my sleeves to find solutions. At the same time, I understand that sometimes the greatest support comes simply from listening, showing empathy and being a dependable presence. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm nature, positive outlook and ability to make them feel comfortable and understood. I believe that kindness, laughter and genuine human connection can make an enormous difference to a person's wellbeing, and I strive to bring those qualities to every interaction.
