Hi, my name is Sophie, Being helpful and meeting new people are two of my greatest joys, so combining the two and adding my creativity, top-notch organisational skills and love of new experiences, make me your perfect Hero material. One of my best skills is finding joy in all the small things in life, which I feel I can share with anyone I meet. I tend to be optimistic, inquisitive and grateful in all that I do. Having been trained as a primary school teacher I have many skills to share, one of them being a love of crafts (paper craft, crochet, jewellery making, clay and the list goes on) which I would love to inspire in others. I love anything to do with Art (from making to gallery visits) and would welcome the opportunity to use the Art Therapy skills I gained in my recently completed course. I love to be active; walking, swimming, dancing, yoga etc but equally enjoy sitting somewhere comfortable and enjoying a lovely cup of something and having a chat. I'm a can-do person who would just like to help in any way I can.. I am a constant collector of inspiring quotes but the one that speaks to me at the moment is 'Wisdom begins in Wonder' (Socrates?) as I'm always seeking new wisdoms and love to retain a child-like wonder and openness to all the world has to offer.
