I decided to become a social carer because I am an empathetic person with a genuine interest in people and their unique stories. I believe that everyone has a meaningful path and background, and I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. My grandfather, who was the most important person to me, developed Alzheimer’s before he passed away. I aspire to care for others in the way I would have wanted someone to care for him, with compassion and respect. I’m at a point in my life where I want my work to be meaningful and focused on helping people.
With over 10 years of experience in customer service, account management, and billing roles, I would be happy to lend a hand with any sort of administrative or paperwork duties. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Law, so I enjoy true crime documentaries and anything that expands my understanding of people’s behavior. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, love spending time in nature, and playing backgammon. Theology and spirituality are interests of mine, and while I’m a Christian, I embrace a non-judgmental approach and respect everyone’s beliefs.
As a mother of two, I am caring, flexible, and committed to understanding the unique needs of the person I care for. I can cook, clean, and serve as a supportive companion, and I am always willing to learn new skills to better serve others. People often describe me as empathetic, respectful, positive, and non-judgmental.
Coming from a Greek background and growing up in a big family, I enjoy learning about other cultures and diversity. I believe life is short, and I strive to show kindness to everyone.
