As a support worker and former house manager, I strive to provide social, emotional, and practical support to individuals and their families by delivering the best possible duty of care, listening attentively, and empowering my clients to lead happy and fulfilling lives. I have been fortunate to have worked across multiple areas, supporting one-to-one, respite care, high personal care needs, corrections, day program support, community and recreational support, working with challenging behavioural, and implementing positive behavioural support plans. Committed to duty of care and respecting clients in their diversity, and dedicated to promoting and maintaining safe work practices, and understanding and appreciating the Person-Centered and Wellness approach to client care. Furthermore, I'm a huge sports fan and enjoy watching and playing soccer. I'm a communicator and listener. I can also learn quickly, am self-motivated, and am always willing to ask questions to enable me to be better at my assigned work/task. Furthermore, I'm currently enrolled and am undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies.
