My self motivation, strong initiative, huge personality and bright energy makes me a perfect Social Carer. Helping and supporting others through empathizing to understand their individual needs shines through when working with clients. While completing my Cert IV in Mental Health, I worked as a Nanny and advocated for Children in the Foster Care System, following this, I began working in Aged Care. Throughout these incredible journeys, it has been the highlight of my life to give inspiration and empower others to make positives changes, achieve goals to strive for the best future possible. I can be a positive and empathetic support person for young and old. I would share my skills and hobbies by active listening and learning more about my clients interests. If they required any assistance in locating relevant programs, e.g, if a client wanted involvement in Fitness and Exercise, my role would be to find a suitable and affordable gym. I would encourage them to pursue their interests and talk to them about my own recreational skills and hobbies. One of which is cooking and my immense interest in nutrition, this could be a good way to inspire a new interest or hobby for my client.
