I wanted to become a Social Carer because I genuinely enjoy helping people feel supported, valued and confident in their everyday lives. I’ve always been someone who enjoys listening, building connections and being there for others when they need a helping hand. I believe I’ll be good at this role because I take the time to understand each person’s unique needs and do my best to make a positive difference in their day. Some of my hobbies include fitness and boxing and going to the gym, which have taught me discipline and the importance of having goals. I also really enjoy cooking either it be healthy meals or a cheeky sweet treat, which allows me to share nutritious food ideas with others. I have strong interpersonal skills from past work in customer service and team based environments, and I enjoy learning new skills that help me become a more effective carer
