I am drawn to caring roles and was a Family Day Care Educator for 25 years. I enjoyed that time and know I made a positive difference in many people’s lives. I prefer working with small groups so that I can provide a quality experience. I will be a good Social Carer because I am comfortable working with individuals and their families. I am organised and reliable. I’m easy going and always up for a cuppa and a chat. I’m looking forward to getting to know my clients and spending time with them. I like outdoor activities and have always been a bit of a tomboy. I grew up in the country, riding motorbikes and horses. I’m not crafty at all and I’m a pretty average cook. These days I enjoy boating, flying light aircraft and spending time with my family and dogs. I grew up in an extended family and was very close to my grandparents. Even now some of my favourite friends are over 70. I’m particularly interested in getting my clients out in the community, participating in the hobbies they enjoy. Maybe we can both try something new. Let’s get out and have some fun.
