I enjoy helping others in need, and I've done it on a personal and professional level. I am an empathetic individual who has worked extensively with people of all ages to assist with their needs and requirements. Throughout my career, professionally as well as personally, I have enhanced my ability for developing rapport with clients. I am equipped with the ability to handle problems and manage my resources effectively. When required, I am capable of leadership and can effectively interact in a group setting. I have an optimistic attitude and am always looking to widen my knowledge and education. I would talk about the clients lives, interests, and experiences, rather than their limitations. From there I would use my experience and knowledge to try and provide a multitude of options for the client and give them autonomy in the decision making process. I would further elaborate on my hobbies and passions and provide the client with alternatives to activities that may not have felt possible, (introducing a chair based yoga/exercise routine, adapted sports such as carpet bowls or pickleball or learning a new instrument) through this I would look to build meaningful connections with the client whilst offering consistent support and encouragement.
