I enjoy helping others, both personally and professionally, and I've built strong rapport working with clients across a range of ages and needs. I bring lived experience with chronic pain and mental health challenges too, which gives me genuine insight into what clients are navigating, not just theory. My experience spans community access and social support, adapted physical activities, and more complex, high-needs support, and I've also assisted with personal care tasks like mobility support and daily living needs when required. Rather than focusing on limitations, I like to get to know a client's life and interests first, then offer a range of options and let them lead the decision making. I often draw on my own interests to introduce alternatives clients might not have considered, like chair-based yoga, adapted sports such as carpet bowls or pickleball, or learning an instrument. It's a good way to build a real connection while offering consistent, practical support.
