I have previously worked in the disability sector in an administration role but felt that the most rewarding part of my role was interacting with people with disability. Fishing, gardening, reading and arts and crafts. My daughter is a mental health nurse with over ten years experience in both hospital and community and has been telling me for years that I would make a great mental health support worker. It took working with people in this sector for six months to realize that she was absolutely right.
