Hi, I'm Sebastian. I work with children with a range of additional needs, including autism, trauma backgrounds, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behaviours of concern. The most important thing I bring isn't a particular strategy or program—it's patience. I believe every behaviour is a form of communication, and that children thrive when they feel safe, understood and accepted for who they are. My approach is to build trust first, because meaningful progress comes through connection, not pressure. I currently support children in a school setting as well as privately. I've had the privilege of working with children who were non-verbal, highly anxious, struggled with aggression, or found it difficult to trust new people. I understand that every child is different, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, confident and successful. Whether that's exploring nature, playing games, sharing a special interest, practising social skills, or simply sitting quietly together, I adapt my support to the individual child rather than expecting them to fit into one approach. My goal is to help children feel capable, valued and safe while working alongside families to support their child's growth.
