I am a kind, empathic person who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and listening to their stories. I find purpose in being supportive and engaged, and I like to make good use of my time by contributing in meaningful and practical ways. I love to read, swim, go to live music venues & watch a good movie. I also dabble in painting. I enjoy having a coffee and a chat at a nice cafe as well as spending time with family and friends. I have worked in childcare, schools and have my own children as well as grandchildren. I also have experience as a receptionist in a large company, which included administration for the site. In my reception role I was the first point of contact and made sure all visitors felt welcomed. I also have first-hand experience with dementia through supporting my mother, which has given me a strong understanding of the importance of compassion, patience and clear communication. I enjoy a good laugh.
