I was motivated to become a Social Carer after supporting my elderly father for the past few years. Being involved in his day today care helping with meals, mobility, appointments and companionship showed me how meaningful it is to support someone’s independence and wellbeing. It taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of treating people with dignity and respect. I believe I will be a good Social Carer because I am compassionate, reliable, and able to build strong rapport with people from all backgrounds. Through my work in pharmacy and customer service, I’ve developed excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm, supportive, and organised in fast-paced situations. I am someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and creating a positive, encouraging environment.
I’m passionate about helping others feel supported, understood and confident. I enjoy connecting with people, listening, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’m fluent in both English and Arabic, which helps me communicate with people from diverse communities.
My skills include patience, empathy, strong communication, and reliable time management. I’m also confident with organising routines, supporting daily tasks, and being a friendly companion.
In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, trying new foods, and spending quality time with my family. I also love learning about health, wellbeing and personal development.
