I chose social care after volunteering in local shelters and seeing how a little genuine support can lift someone’s whole outlook. Patience, empathy, and solid listening skills come naturally to me, and my sociology background helps me tailor help to each person’s unique circumstances. Most of all, I care deeply about people’s dignity and wellbeing, an attitude that clients quickly sense and respond to. I’m passionate about helping others and creating safe, supportive environments where people feel heard and valued. I have strong communication and problem solving skills, and I enjoy working as part of a team. Outside of work, I love reading, volunteering, and exploring nature, it helps me stay grounded and brings balance to my life.
