I have always been drawn to helping others and making a difference in people’s lives. Becoming a Social Carer allows me to do meaningful work that supports individuals to live with dignity, independence, and confidence. I find it deeply rewarding to be someone people can rely on, whether it’s offering practical assistance, emotional support, or simply being there to listen.
I believe I will be good at this role because I am compassionate, patient, and understanding. I have strong communication skills and can adapt easily to different personalities and situations. I approach every person with respect and empathy, and I take the time to understand their individual needs. I’m also reliable, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for the people I support.
I’m passionate about caring for others and creating positive experiences that help people feel valued and supported. I enjoy working with animals and have experience training dogs and handling horses, which has taught me patience, consistency, and clear communication — skills that also apply to supporting people.
I’m a hands-on, creative person who loves being outdoors and staying active. I enjoy spending time with my animals, working on my property, and helping others learn new things. I’m also a strong communicator and find it easy to build trust and connections with people from all walks of life. My natural empathy and calm nature help me bring comfort and encouragement to those I support.
I have many years of hands-on experience caring for both people and animals, and I’m passionate about helping others feel safe, valued, and supported. I’ve worked one-on-one with children, including those with special needs, providing patient and understanding care tailored to each child’s individual abilities and comfort level. This experience has given me strong skills in communication, emotional regulation, and building trust through empathy and consistency.
Alongside this, I have worked professionally as a dog trainer and run a small property in Jilliby where I care for horses, donkeys, and other animals. These roles have taught me excellent observation skills, calm leadership, and the ability to manage routines and responsibilities with care and reliability.
I’m naturally patient, compassionate, and creative. I enjoy finding ways to make people smile and helping them achieve their goals, whether that’s through encouragement, gentle guidance, or simply sharing a kind moment. I pride myself on being dependable, respectful, and adaptable to the needs of those I care for.
I believe my mix of practical experience, empathy, and a genuine love for helping others would make me a strong and positive addition to your team.
