I have been providing support for 5 years now and my values are Respecting the clients- Their values, rights, choice and autonomy and privacy. Empathy-Active listening without judgement, always a person-centered approach what clients want and what they can do and motivate and empower their strengths. Respecting their beliefs and culture so that they feel safe and inclusive. Being honest, reliable and Advocating on their behalf of clients if they need to be protected. Respecting their families, other carers and their networking group. Building rapport with clients and understanding their care plan to support them to reach their goals. I believe in empowering individuals to make their own choices and supporting them in ways that honour their cultural, social, and spiritual identity. I’m passionate about building strong relationships, promoting independence, and helping people engage meaningfully in their community.
