About me

I want to become a Social Carer because I believe nobody should have to compromise a fulfilling life because of disabilities or handicaps. I have seen the many ways that disabilities have affected the lives of family members and friends, and understand how much stress it can put on families. I would love to provide families with any assistance they need to lessen their load or just be someone to provide warm company and create a genuine connection with. I am a 3rd year Primary Education Student at the University of Newcastle. I am passionate about providing children with the environment and opportunities to grow into confident, inquisitive life-long learners. In my free time I love taking my dog on walks and going on picnics with friends. At my Weekend job I facilitate fun family activities such as face-painting and crafts of all sorts. A fun fact about me is I studied at a top University in South Korea for an exchange semester in a discipline depth of Creative Arts.
