I come from a big family and have always been a people’s person. As an older child I’ve had experience with taking care of others and also was a babysitter for two years. I also want to become a doctors when I’m finished with my studies and I feel as one of the most important skills to learn for that is human connection, through being a social carer I feel like I’d achieve that. I love reading one of my favourite books is The Catcher in the Rye because the books ability to evoke a deep sense of nostalgia even though I’ve never been to New York or decided to leave school for no good reason. I also love listening to audio books and buying second hand books because the inscriptions and annotations left behind tell another side to the story.
