Having worked in healthcare for many years I miss caring and assisting people and I would like to be able to give back to the community. I have recently been supporting a group of seniors to create a social support group and thoroughly enjoyed this role. I am empathetic and compassionate by nature and love being with people. I am open minded and a creative person who enjoys conversation and companionship. I love anything crafty, painting, drawing, paper crafts, clay, fabric, simple crafts. I'm a keen gardener and spend many happy hours tending to my garden. I love to sing and read good books, and I'm known to love a good chat! Family and friends are very important to me. My background in health is a valuable skill to assist those that I work with and the the knowledge that social interaction is imperative to wellbeing.
