I have been a carer for the past two years. I’ve really loved the experience of creating caring bonds and the fun times I’ve had with my clients. I’ve cared for some clients and their families on a daily basis for the whole two years and some right up to the end of their lives. I feel lucky to have been a witness to profound love and courage and humour in the face of the challenges of daily living. Besides being a carer, I am part of a theatre group that performs to a three times a year and I teach acting for film part time. (Shakespeare is the love of my life) I take a keen interest in world events and have two beautiful dogs that get about a million cuddles a day. Hand-in-hand with all this I love movies and theatre and music and consider and can read to you for hours. I had one client to whom I read the entire Old and New Testaments and we acted some of it out which was hilarious and eye opening. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly.
