My name is Rekha Budhathoki, and I have completed a Bachelor of Community Services. I have experience working in mental health acute and subacute units, disability support, and home care settings. Supporting people with their daily activities and emotional wellbeing has shown me the importance of compassionate, respectful, and person-centred care. I enjoy helping people feel safe, valued, and independent. I currently work as a Support Worker and Hospital Assistant, where I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I am patient, caring, reliable, and able to remain calm in challenging situations. I hold a full NSW driver’s licence with a clean driving record and have access to my own vehicle. I am confident driving across Sydney and regional NSW and can assist clients with transportation and community access needs. I can speak English, Nepali, Bengali, and Hindi, which helps me communicate with people from diverse backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy long drives, listening to music, reading books, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family and friends.
