I've been working with elderly, people living with disabilities and at-risk children as a volunteer for over 20 years. My brother lives with both intellectual and physical disabilities so I've grown up caring and supporting him from a young age. I have a number of ongoing clients living with CP that I assist on a weekly basis. I also co-host the 'Everyday people' radio show on 3WBC 94.1FM talking about supporting those with disabilities to achieve their dreams and live a normal everyday life! Things I love; cooking, doing arts and crafts like painting or pottery, fitness, pilates, running, swimming, bike riding, playing board games. I have a very old small well behaved dog also available to bring for cuddles but I am more than happy to work with your dog/cat or other animal. I love music and food and am happy to take clients out to new places or see a new band or concert or to a football game or show. I am also good with technology and build websites, tik tok videos, as my background is marketing. I like to consider myself young at heart with an old soul, I'm in my mid thirties so I'm close enough in age to get along with teenagers and people in their twenties having been through their challenges of school and living with medical conditions myself. I also enjpy reading and listening to podcasts I love learning more about improving myself and leading a more wholesome life and work as a life coach. I've shown some of my clients how to do hand building pottery, crafts, I've also held classes to show people how to make jewellery using Polymer clay.
