Hi, my name is Rebecca, Tell us why you would make a great Hero. I am compassionate and value each individuals uniqueness. I have cared for loved ones with Autism, Alzheimer's, Cancer and Chronic Kidney Disease. Professionally I have supported people with MS, Cerebral Palsy, Vision Impairment, Autism and Limb Loss. I like to listen (both verbally and non verbally) to peoples needs and assist in having those needs met, either by direct assistance from me or maybe just help in finding the right avenue to fulfillment. I love it when I can help people to feel happy and good about themselves. I truly care about the wellbeing of each and every person I cross paths with! Tell us how you will share one of your skills or hobbies to help someone in our community. I like to be organised and enjoy helping people feel independent and in control of their own lives. I enjoy teaching everyday living skills like how to meal plan, budget, shop for, prepare and cook a simple meal. I am resourceful, so if I'm unsure about something, I'm more than happy to work with you to help find out how you can reach your goal. I am a great listener for someone who needs a bit of companionship and conversation over a cuppa.
