I’ve always been someone who cares about helping others, especially those who might be going through a tough time or need extra support in their lives. The idea of being able to make a genuine difference in someone’s wellbeing is what is most rewarding for me as a carer. I think I’d be good at it because I’m patient, reliable, and I know how to connect with people from different backgrounds. I’m a good listener, and I try to understand what people really need rather than just going through the motions. I also handle stress well and stay calm under pressure, which I know is important in this kind of work. I also love encouraging people to get out of their comfort zone and try new things! My passion is basketball as I grew up playing and used to play semi professionally. I try playing basketball in my spare time as well going to the gym and staying active by trying new sports. Apart from exercise, I also really enjoy socializing about everything and anything I’m currently a Support Worker with three years experience and I’m looking to provide some additional support!
