I love helping others and making connections with them. I just moved to Australia from the US as an au pair and I would love to devote some of my free time to meeting new people in a meaningful way. All of my previous jobs or volunteer work has involved face to face interactions with people, particularly children, whether it be entertaining them, transporting them to/from activities, ensuring their safety, teaching them certain skills, or simply accompanying them in various activities. I have a wide range of interests as well and would typically be up for any sort of activity that may interest someone who is looking for a social carer! One of my interests is tennis and a way that I could share this hobby with someone in the community is by taking them to a tennis court and teaching them the basics of the sport and hitting the ball back and forth and chatting in a fun, low pressure environment.
