Hello, I’m Rachel, and I’m passionate about providing support that helps people feel heard, valued, and confident in their daily lives. Through my work with My Aged Care, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for people to have someone they can rely on regularly for practical assistance, but also for genuine understanding and connection. I am committed to building respectful, trusting relationships with each of my clients, taking the time to learn what matters most to them so I can support them in living the life they choose. I also bring personal insight to my role, as a mum to an adult daughter with ADHD and a 17-year-old daughter with ASD and anxiety. This has taught me the importance of flexibility, patience, and finding strengths in each person’s unique way of experiencing the world. Outside of work, I love travelling, cooking, reading, and relaxing with a good movie. I am also very pet-friendly and understand how much pets mean to people, having cared for many animals over the years including horses, goats, sheep, and chickens. Currently, I share my home with three dogs and two cats, one of whom has diabetes and needs twice-daily injections, so I am familiar with providing gentle and consistent care.
