Hi, my name is Peter, I have often been in need and people have helped me. I would like to help out and give back. I am already helping some people within my local church community. I give people lifts, take them around, bring them to our dinners and BBQs. etc. I used to spend a lot of time with a paraplegic friend who had no family. I did his shopping and took him out. I am at present looking after a neighbor friend who is lonely and can't get out. Always willing and ready to help. I found a guy on NABO who was lonely and needed someone to talk to and visit and take out. We communicate by e-mail and I take him to our church's weekly Wednesday dinner and take him home. So many people have offered him help on NABO but have never knocked on his door. I feel I have achieved something by knocking on his door and taking him out. A favorite quote of mine is: Jesus said: "Love your neighbor as yourself".
