I’m a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic, fun and friendly person. I am easy to get along with and can effectively communicate with all age groups and I am LGBTQI+ friendly. I’m the main carer for my adult daughter who has autism, seizures, and other disorders and learning difficulties for that she developed during childhood. So, I have plenty of life experience when it comes to this. I also have a good understanding of food restrictions, intolerances, and allergies. Most of my working career was in an office, until I began to care for a grandparent who was sick, this ignited a passion that I never knew I had, which was to help people that need it live a full life! I have a true passion for providing compassionate and supportive services to any age group that are inclusive and person centred that supports and enhances a person’s abilities enabling them to live their best life at home and in the community! I love finding new adventures, watching all types of sports, going to the gym, going for walks – especially where the water is close by, going out for breakfast/brunch/lunch and I enjoy a good coffee. I enjoy cooking for relaxation as it clears the mind. ^& ^&I love being able to help people perform their daily living tasks. If I had to choose just one skill or hobbie then I would have to say that I would love to share my passion of cooking with someone. It is something we all need, FOOD! If the person I am caring or supporting is not able to complete this on their own, I would love to be able to assist them with this. Cooking allows you to clear your mind of all other things, it allows you to focus on the now, and hopefully the end results puts a smile on someone's face and gives them as much pleasure as it would give to me when I am doing this for them.^&
