About me

I want to be a social carer because I love helping people who may need assistance and companionship in their daily life. I am a mother of two daughters, both of which are on the Autism Spectrum. My eldest, in particular, requires daily assistance in terms of personal care, wellbeing and safety whether at school or home. My 16 years' experience caring for her has made me confident I could also help others in a respectful and compassionate way. I really enjoy cooking and watching cooking programs. I like to get out into the community and give assistance when I can. I love completing puzzles and learning new things. Detail orientated, I can help people get organised in their daily lives. I have a great deal of life experience and knowledge that suits the role of a social carer. I believe in caring for people and helping them in all aspects of their lives.
