I work in the support unit of a Primary School and often wonder what is available once students leave school. I like the idea of helping them to further their independence and find enjoyment and freedom outside their home environment. Gardening, sewing, like to dabble in wood work. Movies. I have worked for over 18 years as a Swimming Instructor/Swim School Coordinator & Supervisor working with students from 3 months old through to adults. Some of this time was volunteering with The Rainbow Club which provides swimming lessons to students with disabilities. I am presently working in a Support Unit at a Primary School, providing education support to students with Autism and those who are on Behaviour Management Plans . I have also been a Carer providing domestic assistance and personal care for my Father who had Parkinson's Disease.
