I genuinely care about helping people live safely, independently, and with dignity. I have extensive experience in the disability sector and have seen how the right support can build confidence, skills, and quality of life.
I’m reliable, patient, respectful, and person-centred in my approach. I focus on building trust, listening to individual needs, and supporting people to maintain independence rather than doing things for them.
I also bring strong communication skills, safety awareness, and training in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
I’m a warm, friendly, and easy-going person who enjoys simple pleasures and good company.
I love travel, as well as getting out for concerts, cafés, restaurants, markets, and trying new foods, as well as relaxed day trips and local outings. I also enjoy music, growing edible plants, rollerskating, and spending quality time with my dogs and family.
I’m calm, patient, and easy to talk to, and I enjoy meaningful conversations as much as quiet, relaxed activities like movies or a nice walk.
I have both professional and personal experience supporting people with disability and older adults. I previously worked as a Site Manager in supported employment, leading teams and supporting employees with diverse needs to build skills, confidence, and independence.
I have also worked in home care supporting older people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
In addition, I have personal experience, with a brother who has Down syndrome and a sister with autism, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, respect, routine, and the importance of seeing each person as an individual.
I’m calm, reliable, and compassionate, with a strong sense of responsibility and genuine care for others.
I value clear communication, consistency, and creating a safe, supportive environment where people feel comfortable, respected, and empowered.
