I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their goals. I was a uni lecturer for 13+ years and am a patient, empathetic person with diverse interests. I love designing, making, and fixing things, including clothing, furniture, curries, exploring new places and trying new things. I enjoy bushwalking, playing board games, bird watching, visiting art museums, reading, eating spicy food, and listening to music. I teach sewing to kids and adults and volunteer with the Repair Cafe in Woolloongabba. I attended seven different primary schools in five US states within a six year period, and migrated to Australia with my partner in 2009, so I know how challenging it can be to to try new things, and how much easier it is to do so with a friend.
