About me

I was motivated to become a Social Carer because I have always had a strong desire to support and uplift people, especially during vulnerable moments in their lives. I am naturally empathetic and patient, and I find real purpose in helping others maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Seeing the positive impact that compassionate care can have on someone's wellbeing is what drives me to pursue this role I am passionate about people and human connection. I genuinely enjoy being there for others, listening to them, and offering support in ways that make them feel seen, safe, and cared for. I’ve always been someone others feel comfortable opening up to, and I value kindness, patience, and understanding in how I treat people. In my spare time, I love watching TV shows and movies, listening to music, and discovering new artists or genres. I enjoy relaxing with a good series or film just as much as I enjoy being active. Team sports are a big interest of mine because I love the sense of teamwork, communication, and shared goals. I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors, which helps me clear my mind and stay grounded. My skills include being a good listener, patient, friendly, and dependable. I have a calm nature, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humour, which helps me connect easily with others. I bring warmth, energy, and reliability into everything I do, whether I’m working with people or spending time with friends and family. I would describe myself as someone who is warm, dependable, and genuinely caring. As the first born in my family, I naturally took on responsibility from a young age, which shaped me into someone who is reliable, organised, and attentive to others’ needs. I value respect, honesty, and kindness, and I bring those qualities into everything I do. I am adaptable and open-minded, and I work well with people from different backgrounds and personalities. I take responsibility seriously and can be trusted to follow routines, respect privacy, and maintain professional boundaries while still being friendly and approachable. I am always willing to learn, open to feedback, and committed to improving myself.
