I wanted to reach out and share my story with you because I believe it aligns perfectly with the values and mission of Love Family. My name is Maeve Tang and I'm a firm believer in the power of connection and support.
Let me start by telling you a bit about myself. I've always been a happy, joyful, and friendly person, and I genuinely enjoy interacting with others. But life threw me a curve-ball when my mother was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when I was just two months old. As a result, I ended up living in an orphanage until I turned 18. Now, you might think that's a terrible experience, but let me tell you, it's not. It holds a special place in my heart, and I treasure every moment of it.
Despite the challenges I faced, I never lost my pride in who I am. I consider myself pretty special, and I've discovered that I have a knack for storytelling. Drawing from my own unique experiences, I created an organization called "SOULMATE" Education in Hong Kong. Its purpose is to be there for children and their parents when they face difficult times. I want to be their soulmate, someone who encourages and supports them. No one should ever feel alone, and together, we can make sure they don't.
That's why I'm so excited about Love Family. Your organization is doing amazing work, and I truly believe I would be a great fit as a social carer. My own journey has shaped me into a resilient and compassionate individual, ready to make a positive impact on the lives of others.^&
