I wanted to become a social carer as I believe it is the job I am best suited for. As someone who has grown up in a family with numerous mental health issues and neurodiversities, I have become very accustomed with the nuances of supporting those closest to me. I would love to employ this knowledge and use it to spread kindness to those around me. Being neurodiverse as well, I understand all too well how society's complexity and scrutiny of others can have a harsh impact. I wish to be a friend to those who find themselves judged in this manner. Some of my passions include: exercise, playing the piano, occasional gaming and cooking exotic foods. An interesting fact about me is that I went to Japan for 3 months for a cultural exchange directly after high school. As such I am well versed in their culture and can speak the language at a (barely) conversational level. Another one is that I have Epilepsy (controlled).
