I wanted to become a social carer because I’m passionate about empowering people to live their best life. I am caring, empathetic, passionate and supportive. Some of my hobbies include jewelry making, going to the movies, meditation and mindfulness, catching up with friends and listening to music. I hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, a Diploma in Leisure & Health, and a Certificate IV in training and Assessment. I have been working in aged care since 2012 and I am passionate about supporting people in being who they want to be. I have experience in planning activities and implementing them, activities that have been designed to uplift, empower, promote independence and improve the quality of life- to name a few. I have worked in private aged care homes and the public sector with aged care residents, and NDIS participants. I am friendly, caring, fun-loving, professional, empathetic, and supportive.
