I hold a First Aid certificate for both Child and Senior as well as Asthma and Anaphylaxis. I am a mother of two adult children and am blessed with 5 grandchildren. My family and I migrated to Australia in 1980 as my husband was employed in the technology sector. I recently retired from my career in the accounting sector and would enjoy being involved in the community as a carer. I am active in church activities at both Hillsong and The King's School. One of the aspects of my life that I have found most enjoyable is travelling around the world. Different cultures and traditions are things I find most fascinating. Keeping fit is a passion and presently I am enjoying learning to play the drums. I speak Spanish and Tagalog as well as English. I am currently investigating learning sign language. I love playing Mahjong. A great sadness was the passing of my two dogs three years ago but I am very fortunate that a friend often 'lends' me her dog for the weekend when she travels out of Sydney. Relevant experience for HomecareHeros is: 1. I cared for my aging mother from 1992 to 2002. She had mobility issues, dementia and agrophobia. 2. I supported a parent with two autistic children in 1987.
