Both my parents required long term palliative care. Mother entered an aged care facility, where I was offered employment. I undertook studies, deciding disability work aligned with my core beliefs and values. As an active person the opportunity to support people both socially and in-home aligns with my personal goals. I have worked in the industry for near 5 years, meet amazing people whom I enjoy supporting. I have a passion for: learning - current study - Yr2 Diploma of Nursing life - enjoy being in the community, beach, park or lake walks or supporting wheelchair access consumer's good food - cooking, healthy tasty meals - diabetes friendly Exercise - walking, cycling or gym - supporting people wit physical limitations or rehabilitation Art - museums, galleries or theatre Concerts - all genres of music (excepting hard rock). Appreciation of all people from differing cultures I am an outgoing person, leading an active, healthy lifestyle. I am physically strong underpinned with considerable manual handling exposure. I take advantage of any training and skills I can add to my portdolio
