About me

My motivation to become a Social Carer comes from a very personal place. I grew up helping care for my grandmother during her long battle with cancer, and that experience shaped the person I am today. It taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of being there for someone when they are at their most vulnerable. Seeing how much a little support and kindness can change someone’s day made me want to build a career where I could make that same difference for others. I believe I am well-suited to this role because I genuinely care about people, and I always approach my work with compassion and respect. I have experience supporting individuals with different physical and mental challenges, and I understand the importance of promoting independence, dignity, and choice. I am calm, reliable, and a good listener ,qualities that help me build trust and positive relationships with clients. I enjoy creating a calm, safe and friendly environment for others. In my free time I love cooking, going for walks, and spending time with family. I’m also interested in health, wellbeing, and learning new skills so I can keep growing personally and professionally. I come from Nepal, where community, respect and caring for one another are strong values. Growing up in this environment shaped me into a patient, hardworking and compassionate person. I naturally enjoy helping others and treating everyone with dignity. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and with different support needs, and I adapt easily to each person’s preferences. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and always willing to go the extra mile to make someone feel supported and comfortable.
