I’m looking for a career change and would like to become a social carer so that I can help and make a positive impact in others’ lives whilst still being able to spend time with my children. I am kind, friendly, patient and empathetic and I am lucky to have wonderfully supportive family and friends around me, so I would like to offer the same support I have to those who might need a friend or extra helping hand. Since becoming a mother four years ago, I’ve realised how much I enjoy being caring and nurturing and it would be wonderful if I could make someone’s life a bit brighter or easier. I enjoy all kinds of puzzles, swimming and people watching and I am always interested in giving new hobbies a go. In the past I have tried yoga, canoeing, dancing, rock-climbing, knitting, crocheting and card-making to name a few. I also like organising various crafts and activities with my children, teaching them and learning new things with them. I have previously held mostly corporate jobs and am skilled in problem solving an analytics. I also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, am reliable, organised and able to adapt to changing needs and environments.
