I have always worked in Aged care and disability and mental health. I’ve worked in homes and also Aged care facilities and residential care units. I love what I do. I’ve been told I do it well. I have almost 20 years experience. I’m currently working in a residential house of 5 adult clients with disabilities ranging from autism, schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety etc which I have loved doing over the past 11 years. I am now hoping to go back to working in the clients own home, 1-1. Which I did do in the past. And thoroughly enjoyed it. I love supporting people in the aged care group to keep their independence and live in their own homes for as long as possible. To live their lives to the fullest. Having choice and control over their lives. Also to become active members of the community. And to give primary carers that break that’s sometimes needed and provide respite for them. I can do anything from personal care to community access to companionship, shopping, appointments, basically I’ll support you in any way possible if needed. I am loyal, trustworthy, caring, patient, understanding and reliable, just to name a few of my attributes. Thankyou for reading. 😊 I love dining out, spending time with friends and family. Listening to a band at a Hotel. I also love to travel when time is available. I also have lived experience as in members of my family, both in Aged care and mental health.
